Our Story

Driven by love and respect for animals

Many years on the road, thousands of dogs home. One loving journey at a time.

Who We Are

A mission that started with one van and a promise

Lilia Paws Travel was founded by Lilia Pontika, a passionate animal welfare advocate. Through years of experience, she witnessed hundreds of dogs adopted across borders with no safe, humane transport solution.

What began as voluntary dog transport quickly grew into a deep responsibility. To create a humane, safe, and reliable way of transporting animals that respects every life.

Our responsibility is not simply transporting an animal to a new owner. It is carrying a soul to a new family. Transparency, safety, and humane treatment are our primary concern on every journey.

Our Values

What we believe in

Every decision we make, from route planning to rest stops, is guided by these principles.

Safety Above All

Vet-approved health certificates, microchip verification, and continuous monitoring on every trip.

Care

Your beloved companion is in good hands, fed, hydrated, clean, and never left alone throughout the journey.

Fully EU Compliant

We handle all paperwork, pet passports, health certificates, microchips, and TRACES certificates.

Shelter Partnerships

We are selective about our partners. We only work with shelters that share our values. Every adoption goes through a strict vetting process, carried out with care.

Climate-Controlled Vans & Direct Contact

Temperature-regulated, sanitised before every trip. Our drivers maintain direct access to the crates throughout the journey. Comfortable and safe for dogs of all sizes.

Pan-European Reach

From Greece to Italy, Germany, France, and the Netherlands, we connect shelters with families across Europe.
